Fort Collins Pool Roll Sessions

Pool Sessions and instruction are back! Starting Sunday February 12!

When:  Typically Sunday starting February 12 (see schedule as  it is a Saturday some weeks)
Where: EPIC Pool in Fort Collins (some Saturdays are at Mulberry Pool, again see schedule)
When: 6 – 8 PM.

Thanks to the City of Fort Collins, Dan Hruska and Rocky Mountain Adventures we have unified our efforts to bring Open Roll sessions back to Fort Collins this off-season.

This is a big win for the boating community and for Fort Collins citizens looking to get into the sport. These sessions will be publicized using the City maintained social media accounts as well as the City of Fort Collins Recreator that reaches over 45,000 households!

When we came up with this idea, we knew that providing instruction to beginners was an absolute critical step to the success of a whitewater park Downtown Fort Collins. Chris Drew and Rocky Mountain Adventures have partnered with the City to provide instruction during many session dates.

  1. Here are the details, you must sign up with the City of Fort Collins Recreator first!
     Create an account here: https://webtrac.fcgov.com/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/wbsplash.html
Look for “Need an Account” just below the “Member Login” section.
  2. Once you have registered, you can search for either of the two offerings via Activity Number or under Aquatics:
201359 – Drop – in Kayaking Roll Sessions ($10 for signing up early, or $12 to drop in)
201358 – Kayaking Roll Class ($100, including classroom instruction, pool instruction, and gear rental
  3.  Add the session (or the class…) to your cart, pay, and you’re ready to go!

NOTE!  WE NEED 10 PEOPLE TO SIGN UP in order for the Open Roll sessions to go forward each week. This does NOT include the folks wanting to drop-in on that day ($12). Please sign up at least 2 days in advance so we can have the sessions go each week!

You’ll notice there are some sessions at Mulberry pool on Saturdays, we can probably do more of these if demand continues.
